Brake fluid sensor location?

The E-Brake light in my car has been on for a while now, and its really annoying during night driving. I've gathered from searching around that it is caused by
1. e-brake switch broken
2. brake fluid low
3. bad brake fluid sensor

First off, am I missing any other causes? Second, I have determined that of the 3 listed, my problem is the brake fluid sensor. However, I am not sure where it is located. Could someone post a pic of its location and what it looks like on a 2g?
If it helps, I have a 97 RS with a 420a.

The brake fluid level sensor is located in the brake master reservoir. The e brake sensor is in the e-brake handle assembly under the center console.

Like inside the reservoir? Or is it something that plugs in from underneath, kinda like an O2 sensor might?

It's built into the bottom of the reservoir. It plugs into it on the passenger side of the reservoir with a 2 wire plug.

There's a little foam float inside the reservoir that should move up and down.

Ok, I'll look at it tomorrow. Do you know if its something that has to be replaced if it breaks, or could I clean it out and pop it back in?

The sensor is just a little round piece that slides into a hole in the bottom of the reservoir.
