brake booster check valve

So I found the California emissions crap laying around and took a closer look at it and it has a check valve on it. has anyone ever user this before, I think it should work since it allows are through one side of it-

I found out the hard way that the previos owner of my car took out that check valve and now my brake booster leaks (probably blew a seal while boosting)

...but yeah, if it fits on the hose and you can only blow air one way it should work just fine. I could only find one that's a tad bit larger than the hose but I managed to push it in, it's all nice and right and I have no more boost leaks.
 
Try to search into other sources in order to find the needed brake booster for your car's need. I'm sure with a lot of resources, you can eventually find one in order to really get what you wanted for your car.
