brake booster check valve

anyone know if the check valve that autozone sells will work for the brake booster hose?

I'm doing my rebuild and I don't have the hose.

It should work. This one would probably work better though.

just went and checked it out at autozone and it looks WAY to small. would need a small hose to connect to it causing it to not hook up to the bb

The one I posted a link too is 3/8" and it fits perfect.

So I found the California emissions crap laying around and took a closer look at it and it has a check valve on it. has anyone ever user this before, I think it should work since it allows are through one side of it-

It should work. This one would probably work better though.

My son bought these. He got three for the price of one at AZ. He bought three because the shipping for one was pretty steep.

I found out the hard way that the previos owner of my car took out that check valve and now my brake booster leaks (probably blew a seal while boosting)

...but yeah, if it fits on the hose and you can only blow air one way it should work just fine. I could only find one that's a tad bit larger than the hose but I managed to push it in, it's all nice and right and I have no more boost leaks.

Yeah I bought a few as well for the same reason. I'm using one on my PCV line and one on my brake booster line.

Try to search into other sources in order to find the needed brake booster for your car's need. I'm sure with a lot of resources, you can eventually find one in order to really get what you wanted for your car.
