I'm replacing some of my vacuum lines with silicone lines, and I took out the brake booster line and check valve. But I'm stupid and forgot to look at which direction the check valve needs to be facing. It should prevent air from flowing toward the brake booster, right?

-With a vacuum pump, test from the booster side, you get & held vacuum, from the intake side, no vacuum, so the answer is right.

Suck on one side and then on the other. The side that allows you to pull air through it goes on the hose leading to the manifold. The side that prevents air flow is for the brake booster.
