I was wondering if with my mods and boost lvl if I should throw my bpr7es plugs in yet. Also the plugs I have in now are dual tip 6es's will going to a single tip be fine? and are normal 7es's single tips?

you should put the 7es plugs in even if your stock. they are a very good investment (trust me, i burnt 4 valves because of the 6es plugs). and the 7es's are supposed to have only 1 tip. theres no benefit having 2, especially on the 6es plugs. :dsm:

I would agree. Stock boost is around 10-11psi, so running at around 15psi or above with standard BPU's would benefit from the 7ES's. Just remember that if you plan to run high boost at the track, just swap in new plugs for the strip. Its a 2 minute swap. I do love DOHC. Took me 4 hours to swap 8 plugs on a 5.very very slow Lincoln.

I have 7ES plugs on my car with the 14B, 3" cat-back, K&N, and boost level set to 15psi. In my opnion the car runs great. So basically, I agree with the above posts.

Ok cool I was always told not to put them in unless I was running over 17-18psi. Ive got alot more fuel and air going in from the b16g. Ill put em in tomorrow, I just wanted to make sure before I put them in. Thanks
Andrew

i just upgraded my plugs and damn it is such a difference! I wish i would have done it sooner. Let me know if you need the plugs because i have a brand new set and we live fairly close.
