Can someone tell me if my BOV is set up incorrectly? There are two nipples for vac. lines, and only one is connected to anything. It's a greddy type S. A picture is in my gallery, one upclose and one of entire engine.

It's the quick release feature. Basically, it allows the BOV to open faster. It should not cause a boost leak. You can always do a boost leak test to be sure.

That link posted explains the different nipples pretty good, basically connecting the smaller nipple will help eliminate compressor surge and make it blow off quicker when you get off the gas.

I took mine off and I could blow through the smaller nipple, so it was a boost leak on mine, but other people have told me that they couldn't blow through theirs, so I guess it varies from valve to valve. If it was me I would take it off and blow through it to see if it leaks. If it leaks then I would take it apart and seal it with a small amount of RTV sealant (I did this). Then when you put it back in connect the nipple to a boost source other than your boost control line.
