My greddy type s lost all of its venting sound when I put on my dejon tool hard intake pipe. I have greddy pipes and it used to make a sound with the stock pipe but with the hard pipe it is almost completly quit even at a full wot vent. Is there anything I can do to regain the sound?

You will probably get flamed for asking that, since people here think that worrying about how your b.o.v. sounds is ricey. However, dont tell anyone, but i missed the sound too. heres what i rigged up.. :shhh:

its a hard pipe bov return tube, works great and it resonates the sound much better than a rubber hose.

Yea, I don't know why people flame those who like the sound of a BOV. If you really want the sound though, you could take an old cone filter, cut it up so you can just wrap the metal mesh and filter material between the BOV and return bung on the intake. Its kinda hard to explain, but you should make a tube out of the cone filter material. I did this on mine and measured no difference with a logger in fuel curves, timing curve, etc. It doesn't have any stumbling or anything. I have MAFT now, but it sounded great...pretty much the same as venting. Might be kinda ghetto, but I like hearing all sounds of an engine.

edit:I like to hear all GOOD sounds of an engine

Maybe it just needs to be adjusted. I have used it recirculated on 2 diffrent hard pipe setups (GReddy and Short Routed) and it sounds just as loud as a vented BOV.
