BOV Trouble

i just recently put bigger intake piping and a bov for my gst. after me and my brother were finished putting all of it on i cranked the car and the check engine light was on. obviously its something we screwed up... i think. we checked all connections and everything looked fine. we also took the silencer off my intake and maybe that pisssed off the car. any ideas? also my car has been drinking gas like its going out of style... i think its because my turbo spools alot quicker resulting in more gas consumption. anyway, im all ears so if any of you have any advice or input: please let me know.

What is the CEL and did you plug in the mas sensor?

I'm goin with what he said as of right now.. your car wouldn't be getting that much worse gas mileage (if any at all) from a quicker turbo spoolup -- it's a t-25, it's got almost no lag anyway. An o2 sensor would throw you a code too, so check that out.
