Right now my friend and I have our MBC's connected from the waste gate actuator to the bottom nipple of the MBC and then from the top nipple of the MBC is teed in to the vacuum hose running from the BOV to the Intake Manifold. Seems to work fine, what were you suggesting by saying that if I don't like how the BOV is reacting to the change, to just run it to the MBC then? Thanks.

Essentially your not suppoed to T anything into your BOV line because the pressure in that line is used to keep the bov closed under boost and open when vaccunme is present.

If you mess with it not all the air will get to the BOV and it will take the pressure away. It wont work to its full potential. You are also supposed to run your MBC from a spot on the intercooler piping....see how the 1G j-pipe is set up, it comes with the nipple there factory.

Hmmm, interesting, because I've seen so many set ups like this. So would you recommend then putting two nipples in the hard piping and connecting one to the second nipple of the BOV and the other nipple so the MBC can tee in? Thanks.

Thats exactly what I did. My blow of valve top and bottom each have their own nipple and my MBC has its own nipple.....my boost gauge has its own also. I guess its just safer and more accurate that way.

You made a nipple on the hard piping for your boost gauge as well? I've gotten advice from veterans on here told me that it's fine to tee into the vacuum hose running to the solenoid on the top right of your engine when looking from it at a bird's eye view, sorry I don't remember the dam name for that solenoid, but you just have to tee into the vacuum hose before the solenoid and not after.

I guess I should have cleared that up, it has its own nipple off of the IM.

So did you do the mod yet ?

Now I understand a little better, so you just drilled on into the IM? No I haven't had time to do the mod for my friend, school's got me wrapped up and I have finals this week so hopefully but I'll be doe with school so maybe by the end of the week. Thanks.
