bov open at idle?

exactly it will work fine, because with a recirc tube the air never leaves the system, it just leaks back into the intake. Now if he had a aftermarket bov that was vented that didnt leak, he wouldnt have a problem with bad idle.

i idle like carmen electra's ass. perfect. no idle problems, i just saw that it was open and couldnt for the life of me figure out why it would do that. anywho, thanks for all the responses and help.

If you have an aftermarket BOV, you still need to recirc it unless you want the problems that come with venting a MAF metered setup. It is NOT a leak at idle, it is designed to do it. Do you even understand how a BOV works and why it's there?

when u start the car up, the bov will vent and thats totally normal.

i kinda read through this post quick, but i dont think running the blow thru fassion setup was really mentioned. i did see speed density though. just thought id specifically state blow thru style setup for venting, otherwise i personally think its just pointless and doesnt gain anything to vent on the stock MAF setup like other guys have stated. if you need to hear your bov vent that bad do it right or dont waste your time and allow your poor car to run like shitt and be rich between all your shifts and die all the time and blah blah. Retarted. this is just my opinion though. Not worth the extra noise :)
