When I added a bov it made my boost peak at 15psi and then I reached fuel cut. How is this possible when the car has no mods?

do you take the vacum line from the same line of the waste gate?
the waste gate have a leak in the vacum line check it.

Yea I put it all back to where they need to go, and I'm boosting 15lbs. I don't want that much, I only want around 9 or 10lbs untill I get my timing belt done and a good tune. Is there anyone in the Milwaukee area that could help me

Mine normally was at 12lbs but when I replaced my super leaky 2g bov with a 1g one the 2nd pull it went up to 15lbs also. Then went to 13-14lbs after. I never figured out why. I'm guessing it fixed a boost leak and the air found another weak spot.

The new BOV probably just doesn't leak at anything over 12lbs like the stock one. First check for new boost leaks. That will cause your problem too. If it persists, just hook the wastegate directly to the nipple under the compressor inlet and run the 9-10psi wastegate pressure.

How would I go about doing that? There is that hose that goes from the intake to the bov, is that the hose that I run down to the turbo? And the nipple on the wastegate has to hoses coming off of it. Would I have to get a T to keep the stock hose on it?

The hose from the BOV to intake is a recirculation tube and needs to be there. Take the vacuum line that is on the wastegate, cut it to length and connect it to the nipple on the turbo's compressor housing. It's hard to see under the intake tube. There will be a line going to it already.

Here is an easy boost leak testing method.

If your car is completely stock you shouldn't be hitting fuel cut with your t-25 at 15lbs of boost unless you have a crap load of boost leaks everywhere. 1st do a BLT and get all the leaks fixed then just run the 15lbs of boost. You don't neccesarily need to retune the car for a little more boost when stock....

It's not the stock t-25 when I bought the turbo I was told it was a t-28 if it is not that much of a difference is it?

im not saying you wrong.. cause that is exactly what i have read in many many threads but i did this; cause i don't have the BCS and i didnt want to put on my MBC yet, i am only hitting 6psi and fairly quick.. but i have a 14b and a 1g.
Im confused as of why it doesn this!

Ya a t-28 a reasonably bigger than the t-25. I would just fix the boost leaks and just run around 12-13lbs of boost....

If you are only hitting 6 psi the diaphragm in the wastegate is probably getting weak and opening premature.

Ok once I get paid this Friday I'm going to do my boost leak test and see where I'm leaking. If there is no leaks is there anything else that could be wrong?

Ok I got the greddy bov on and it has two places where I can put a hose I put it on the top nipple where the stock bov would have tge hose, but what about the other nipple? What do I do with that?
