both windshield wipers stopped working

HI,
Last night both front and back windshied wipers stopped working. Getting ready to check if its a bad fuse. Noticed that the windshield wipers doesn't have a fuse up in the fusebox in the enginge bay. Anything else anyone can think of. Since they have seperate motors it probably wouldn't we the motor. Does anyone know if one runs of the other? Like is the back piggybacked off the front or is it a whole new wire running back to it? Any other comments would be appreciated.

this will be locked for bumping so i'll try to help you before that.

there is a sort of long actuator arm that connects both wipers that are ran inside the firewall. you can easily check if they're both working if you take off the pass. side motor and see if the actuator is moving when you put the wipers on.

Methinks its an electrical problem. check your manuals to see if there is a wiper fuse.. chances are its in the interior set

*edit* the above mentioned is to check if front wiper motor is operating..

I was working on it and traced the wire harness that run out of the firewall and connect with another set. Guessing that it runs back to the rear motor. Anyway tested for power. It has a "6 pack" of contacts. 1 set of them said it had power the other ones didn't. Input?

I took the back apart to take a look at the tank. I lifted the spare tire up and there was a pool of water. Soaking some of the electrical connections. Vacumed it out and put it back together and still didn't work. Mabye it needs to dry more. Also the two round shaped deals attached to the tank that have electrical connections. Dont know if they are the washer pump or what? The top of one was ripped off. Went to put it back on and didn't really want to go. If those aren't the problem any ideas where I should go from here?
