I tried everysingle shop in my area and except the dealer, I cannot find OEM O2 sensor for the car, and I will not pay the $200 the dealer wants. So here is what I got, the skew it calls for in Universal form.

The new sensor has (White, White, Grey and Black wiring) I need to cut the factory harness and wire it to the new sensor, but the factory colors are (Blue, Grey, Black, Black)

Anyone have info or schematic on what needs to be where? Thanks.

Do you drive a Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevy, 1st gen DSM, 2nd gen DSM?

Dealer usually wants $90-$115 for an OEM 1g/2g O2 sensor. http://mitsu.conicelli.com/index.asp

How can you know that dealer wants $200 when you inidcated that you HAVE NOT TRIED THE DEALER? What is 'skew'?

The dealer wanted 189.99 for the sensor. San Bernardino Mitsubishi... As for the vehicle info, Ive filled it all out in my profile, I dont know why it doesnt show.

Its a 1995 GST. I even gave the wiring colors. Where I got the sensor now doesnt matter, just the IDs for the wiring I have to work with now. So, thanks for the help I suppose, even though it didnt help at all.

I got the wiring taped on my tool box.I know the whites go with the blacks,but i don't remember the other two on the top of my head,whe i get home on monday,i'll post em up if you havent resoved your problem yet.

SENSOR ----> OEM HARNESS:
white --------> black ( heater wire +/- )
white --------> black ( heater wire +/- )
black --------> blue ( ground )
grey ---------> white ( signal )

if that sets off the CEL, reverse the heater wires

Good information! This is what I need for my universal Bosch sensor. It has the wiring detail but it’s so confusing.

This info is also available in a few other threads on here. i have to say that this site has the best search feature I've ever used on a forum and i moderate 2 vbulletin boards.

But this thread is good because it has some different title words and has the same great info. add another short, simple and helpful thread to the search return!!!

Old thread, but just wanted to touch up on something straight from the bosch wiring diagram. "Since there is no polarity to the heater wires(white ones on the sensor end), it is only important to match the color of the heater wires". Therefore, switching the wires around in case of a triggered cel will not be necessary.
