borg warner s362, bep?

My brother just got his hands on one of these, looking at the best options for an exhaust housing. Opinions, where to find?

Depends on what you have in mind

If I was going to do it again with the ~60mm BW compressors.. .91A/R Divided T4 with 3" V-Band discharge

Had a 59/74 in 4 different housings from bolt on to divided T4, all of which were fun. T4 hauled the mail though.

I agree with the .91 T4 housing. Your "362" is really a 60mm 83/75 Borg Warner/Airwerks that came standard with the T4 housing. BEP cuts down there wheels, puts on smaller restricted housing then charges double the price as a real BW. Full-Race did a test where that turbo spooled slightly quicker then a 35R and made more power per boost.

I assume you're asking about the S362 which was recently on eBay, originally listed as a HX40? I messaged the seller with the turbo's identification before he sold it to someone who really though it was a HX40.

I was interested for a while buy shyed away when the price went too high figuring a new turbine housing was at least $220, putting the total around $550 for a used turbo that sells for +/- $700 new.

Yeah that's the one in question, . This is for later down the road, since his car is and has been a project car for a while. Just trying to help him out though, and it seems the t4 is the way to go. Thank you all for the quick response!
