Boosting only 7 PSI ? Why? HELP!!!!

The car is stock. It was well taken car of when I bought it. It's a 91 GSX . Now stock it was boosting 12psi and wold spike to 14psi for some reason unknown. I did the free mods from Road Race Engineering.com (MAF) hack and then the next day the car was only boosting 7 psi. 2 days later the check engine light came on. I had the codes read and they say EGR valve and MAF sensor. I know about the MAF sensor since I modded it, but would the EGR valve be causing a boost issue. I have owned 2 other 1st gens and have never encountered this problem. What could be causeing my car to only boost 7 psi?? I change out alot of the vacuum lines thinking it could be a leak. I tried checking the turbo hoses, nothing i can see. Is there a way to check for boost leaks? Or is my turbo bad? But the previous owner said he just rebuilt the turbo. So i don't know any ideas. i keep trying to get ahold of Road Race, becuase that's where I used to go, but ever since they've gotten so big in the last couple of years they don't like answering their phones..

Instead of starting a new thread, why don't you go back to your old thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173843 and update poeple after you've tried what have been suggested. You are going to get the same answers as you did in the other one.
