Boosting late and idling high

I have a 1996 tsi awd. I recently put dejon tool I/C pipes on it. Now, my idle is slowly creeping to 2k and dropping back down to 1k. I know I have to adjust the BISS screw, but was wondering if I could do it without the scan tool. Also, my turbo is boost relatively late. I have a t25 with a turboxs mbc on it. It boosts around 3.5k. How does one fix this? Wastegate actuator sticking or something? Can I just run a vacumn line from one nipple on the turbo to the other nipple on the turbo and boost that way? I don't really care about performance on this turbo anymore.

I would check for boost/vac leaks first, that may solve all your problems.

Thanks for the link... I guess. I'm not that big of a noob. Boost leaking isn't my problem. Weird idling is. Any ideas about the BISS screw and scanner?

If you arent that big of a noob why ask?


Check for leaks. Leaks can cause funky idles

I already did a boost leak check. I said Im not that big of a noob-not an expert. What do you know... Someone asking a question and getting shit for it.
