ok so i have a 95 talon tsi awd, just recirculated the bov, has 154k miles. it has a fmic, wally 255, evo big 16g turbo, greddy type s bov, and a fpr. also i have a cheap probly ebay controller on it.

ok so heres my issue. i turned the contoller all the way down. shut closed and was going to try and open it little by little to get it to a psi i wanted. well, as i took it around the block and cruised for a second at 3k then gave it some gas(not full throttle but close) me and my g/f flew back into the seat and it felt like we were going to lift off! i look at the boost gauge and it was pushing over 20, i turned it 1 full turn and it then it only pushed 10 psi at full throttle, then i turn it a half back and it goes 15 now. id this controller fked? also i wanna know can i keep it running over 20 psi like that safely? or will that kill my engine? btw im not tuned yet

Before you start turning the boost up, you need to know whats going on inside your engine.

What size injectors do you have?
What do you use for compensation for the injectors?
Do you have a logger?
Do you have a wide band?

no wideband no logger stock injectors , i have 550's but i was gunna just throw them on before i get it tuned

I would leave the boost at 10psi until you get the bigger injectors in and get it tuned. 20psi is dangerous without enough fuel for the added air.

As far as the controller. . .to me it seems like you just need to just nudge it either way for an adjustment. But again I would set it to 10psi and walk away until you get the injectors and a tune.

ok thnx alot thats what i really wanted to know

15 is as high as you can go before you hit fuel cut. I would wait into you got the injectors in and leave it on low boost
