boost question

you'll probably need to upgrade your fuel system, If you haven't already.

fuel pump at least, if you do injectors you'll need to have way to control the fuel. and if you do a 255lph, you'll also want to get a regulator for it.

do you have a way to control the fuel? you'll have to have somthing to do that before you get injectors.. like a maf translator, or afc... with an afc you can handle 650s, with a translator you can go more.. when choosing injector size, keep your ends hp goals in mind..

You should consider using arp head studs and the OEM headgasket. That way, there will be less lift on the head during high boost, and smaller chance of blowing the headgasket.

ARP head studs are a good idea, but IMO not a necesity at this power level.

He posted it in the wrong section. Read his first post and he says,"wanted to know how much boost can a stock 4g63 non-turbo cyclone engine handle without changing the internals?"

If your car still has the n/t motor in it please rethink 20psi. check this out http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/420a-turbo-conversion/56801-how-much-boost-can-i-handle.html . i am referring to the third post down.

He built up the bottom end. You can assume it's probably forged internals designed to handle boost. As for the OP, follow this guide as it will steer you in the right way.

Sorry, i don't like to assume if it comes to giving info that could possibly lead to a blown engine. When he said "built" to me that could mean many things. If 92blutalon could update his profile so people can see what he has in the bottom end it would help. Just trying to help:thumb:
