Hello, I was running 13 psi until I installed my manual boost controller. Now I cannot go over 7 psi. I have done a boost leak test and all checks out good. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I appreciate all of the comments and help. I have to work this weekend, so I will not have a chance to mess with it much. I have read your article and saw your diagram Kenamond. That is completely different than I had mine installed. I will try the install your way and take out the restriction and let you know how it works.

Just to be clear on this...you're going to try it both with and without the stock restrictor plug? The plug might be the secret...or maybe not. But if you can post results both ways, that'd be great.:thumb:

I saw a blow-up version of that MBC picture, and it had an arrow on the T-fitting. That makes me wonder if the restricter is built into the T for that MBC. If so, I think that you could find out. Try blowing into the nipple that the arrow is pointing at and see if more air comes out the bottom of the "T" or the other arm of the "T" or about the same out both. If the arrow is supposed to point to the MBC, then the other arm might have the restricter built into it.

And if that's the case, then you need to install the "T" in the correct direction.

You were right about the T fitting having a reducer. Actually I could not even blow through one side. I put the stock T back on and I am running 14 psi. I will just leave at that for now. Thank you for the suggestions and help.
