I have a stock boost gauge. I modified the BCS a while ago and the needle would always go up to "14" psi at full boost, but recently I noticed that its barely going above 7 psi. Anyone know why this could be happening?

Yeah I found that out after I offered. YOull have to drain the coolant for sure, the banjo on the front will spray collant like a beyotch when you pull it off. And the oil because you have to disconnect the oil return pipe. I found it was a little easier for me to disconnect it from the oil pan, vice the turbocharger since I had limited access. I though I wouldnt have to drain the coolant, thought I could just plug the holes, worked for the upper coolant hoses coming down toward the housing, but the banjo bolt came off with some vengeance. BE SURE TO REPLACE THE CRUSH WASHERS ALSO. The waste gate actuator should only have two bolts on the front, give em some pb blaster. The lower heat shield doesnt like to come off with the O2 sensor still in, but it can be done, if youre gonna pull it though you'll need a slotted socket from the parts store. Just put blaster on the tough bolts, and be patient. Itll come off. Good luck with it.

OK thank you for the help everyone. I was able to get the studs off and i put an EVO3 manifold on along with a new exhaust housing(the old one was cracked all around the wastegate). My results? Well all I can say is the car is about 10 times faster now and it has full boost at 3000 RPMs!! Might be normal to you guys but my car hadnt been able to do that until now. I love it! Again, thank you.

Dude thats awesome!!!! I'm glad I was able to help (how bout some rep?) My baby is still in pieces. Looks like the only shop I can find is in the Mt. Vernon area. Going there this wk nd. I'm about to get sent to Alaska so I'm trying to get things taken care of before, in the meantime Ive been painting things and cleaning things. I'm really glad I was able to help you out though. If you ever run into a tight spot(this is where you go ahead and buddy list me) Id be happy to roll down ( 4 Hrs) on a weekend mind you, to give you a hand. Of course a motor pull will definitely require a couch to sleep on ROFL but I'm military dude, I'm used to leaving my home environment to fix things  For reals...
I'll help you if you need it, my car is down, but I'm glad Yours is up again :thumb:
Peace bro

Whoa that valve cover looks super clean man and thanks for offering to help. Also, I have a Pacesetter tubular exhaust manifold w/ black thermal coating so if anyone wants it just let me know. BTW, is the fan in front of the exhman really necessary?
