Boost leaky turbo!?!?

I did a pressure test and found that the compressure housing on my 14b is leaking where it bolts to the center section. What is this all about and would a rebuild fix it? I plan on getting a new turbo soon, but if I don't and in the meantime, is there anything I can do?

Try tightening all the bolts. Also, you could unbolt the turbo and then take off the compressor cover, then take both parts to a machine shop and have them check and see if they're warped.

Have you looked into replacing the o-ring inside of the compressor housing? It is my understanding that leaks ofter occur at compressor housing when the o-ring gets crusty and lets air pass by... Good luck
