Holy CRAP this leak has been making me really angry I finally found the boost leak on my throttle body and it is the TPS (the black plastic thing on the side of the TB right?) Well we took it off and put rtv gasket sealer on it and there is a slot or hole that looks like it might supposed to be there well we put it all together again tested it and the same hole leaks. It used to leak all the way around it but now it just leaks out the hole on the bottom. How do I fix this leak?

I was actually going to post the same thing last week, but I completely forgot about it. So I would also like to hear some tips on this topic. Mine leaks at 4psi at the TPS, and I cant get it to go above that. Thanks in advance guys.

Thanks, I'll have to take it apart again tomorrow, how hard is it to replace the shaft seals? Are they just o-rings?

what are those called do you have a part number I have had a hell of a time finding lower injector seals now I have to find a part like this:cry:

bu thanks for the fast reply

You can just get o-rings for them or Mach V sells them for some ungodly expensive amount that I would never pay. They aren't to hard to replace. Just timely and don't lose the little screws for the throttle plate. Those are a PITA to try and find replacements for.

After taking it off and looking there was a gold nut holding it to gether, so do I take that nut off then there probaly be a shaft with 2 o rings on it?

OH there is one on each side of the throttle body I see said th blind man who pees in the wind it is all coming back to me now.

I will try the dealer tomorro if there open and yes I ordered the injector seals from the chrysler dealer and they are 1.59 a piece. The mitsu dealer is 50 miles away.

So would you recomend using the real TB seals or using some generic O rings. I doubt that any place in my area has the TB seals.

Ok I will look for the seals but if I cant find them and they are more than a few days away I think I will use o rings.
