Ok I know I have to do a boost leak eventually but im in college and its hard to find time for stuff like that.

Anyways since I installed my new bov my car spools up slower and only reaches 13-14 psi instead of 15-16psi, and it does spool up a good amount slower especially in 4th gear.

Is there any other possibility's of it being something else besides a boost leak? If it is a boost leak where would the most likely place be?

It could most likely be anywhere, but could possibly be your BOV gaskets if you didnt replace them or use them when you replaced the bov. or the BOV itself could be deffective. Which one did you get?

Oh and it cost 5 $ to make a leak tester
And a total of 10-15 minutes at the very most to make it, and find a leak..
I know your not studying that hard! haha

Your right i dont study at all and im being lazy, I actually already have a boost leak tester. I just got to find a gas station that has some air.

Oh yeah and I bought the greddy type rs, the gasket that was on the I/C pipe was kinda stuck on and looked to be burried in so i didnt get it off, could that be a proble? should I take itoff and do that?

Yeah, definitely take that gasket off, scrape it off, make both surfaces nice and smooth, and re install a new gasket, they cost 5bucks.
And i knew you werent studying! haha
And was it the "type" greddy rs? The greddy knockoff, or the real thing?
And if you have a bicycle pump you could pump it up that way.. or buy one of those little air compressors that plug into your cigarette lighter(and can be used to fill up your tire in an emergency)
