Recently i just took out the little piece from inside my bcs (90 tis awd) because i heard it would let u run 1-2 more psi. After doing that a couple minutes later i started hearing a loud whinding sound when i accelerate. As i get on it more it gets louder not sure what it could be anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? If so verify if it only raised your boost 1 or 2 pounds, by doing that bcs mod. If not, it could have increased your boost a lot more and you are hearing the loud whine from the turbo working harder and spinning faster.

No i havent got a aftermarket boost gauge yet im still new to dsm's but everyone tells me thats the first think i should get. Also many people have been saying it could be a leak. Since then i add a manuel boost controller but it still makes the same noise. Not sure exactly what path to take first.

get an aftermarket boost gauge. the stock one is as worthless as a blinking light that goes "boost" or "no boost." you also might have the mbc hooked up wrong and you could be running the hell out of the turbo. you really have no way of knowing without a boost gauge.

ok ill do that then ill let you know what happens. I should hopefully have the gauge and pod this weekend.

Most boost gauge's are accurate. For a while at least. IMO Autometer is the best way to go. Can get a gauge off of ebay new for under $50.00 and they have a great rep. for being reliable and accurate.

Well i just installed my boost guage "autometer carbonfiber series" as i said i would. But im only getting boost. My vacuum stays at 0 all the time any suggestions would be appreciated thanks alot guys!

Where did you install your guage at? I t-ed into the line that goes from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. From what I understand that will give you the most accurate boost reading. That is where mine is and it works great. Make sure you didn't kink the hose somewhere and caused a leak in the line. I would also make sure it isn't link wherever you connected it.
