boost jumping 15 13 back and forth

I feel bad for posting mainly help topics but I guess that's what a forum is for, I had my car set at 15 psi for about a week with no problems now when I'm in a high gear at wot for a long time the boost will die down from 15 to 13 then jump back up and continue til I shift. It's steady jumping from 15 to 13 doesn't change to any other number. Solutions?

I checked all the vacuum lines and see no problems, I also noticed it has a small miss now

thats common thing to happen. mysmall 16 and evo 3 did that also. after i switched to an external gate it stopped.
heck ive even had colder air temps mess with the boost settings. also BOOST LEAKS. thats is most likely your problem.
you did say the car has a slight mis.

You think the miss can be caused by a boost leak? I can deal with the jumpy boost cause I've been meaning to baby my car for a while but the miss is starting to get annoying

yes a boost leak will cause that. i vote boost leak.

so do a boost leak test

to be honest bud it could be a spark problem,bad injector,boost leak,.
the list gos on and on. if you oun a you should know how to wrench your car a lil. look up boost leak tester. you will be shock at how many places it can leak from.

I did as soon as I found out it could be a boost leak. I'll be performing one as soon as the rain stops. No way I can buy a leak tester? I may be able to build one I read the thread but I figured buying one would be better made

my car was doin the same thing had a bad turbo lag like i mean extremly bad and my boost was at 8 creeepin t0 12.as soon as i pt some new ngks brp6es in there it solved all my problems and stoped my car from sounding like a subi

Alright I'll try that. Maybe plugs will help some even though I changed them not too long ago. The car is boosting 18 psi now, idk why. thanks for the help everyone

Make sure your spark plugs are gapped to no more than .028.

even i would haft to say boost leaks because if u have hard piping with the wrong ( cheaper made) rubber cups tht hold it together can make the boost leaks
