boost gauges???

im looking for a good brand of gauges.... what do u guys prefer

I have stewart warner gauges and I am not pleased with the performance. I am not sure if it's the auto seat belt hitting the stop and causing the boost gauge to read off 1 psi, but this is the second sw boost gauge I have gotten and both had the same prob. A friend of mine has a vdo boost gauge and it is fairly close to the factory dash (color wise), and seems to be accurate to 22 psi. I have also heard of defi gauges working very well, depends on your budget.

thanks alot budget really aint a problem...im just lookin to get the pillar for the side with 3 gauges and i just dont know what brands to go with

Can't go wrong with Autometer. Cheap, & does what it's told.

I have a lo-tek triple gauge pod and i love it but take your time when you line it up. i have Autometer Pro comp's with silver faces. I like them but with my system and my rumbling exhaust i wish my boost gauge was liquid filled. If i ever get some moeny i may invest in some higher end gauges like Greddy, Blitz, or Defi. I'm just not rich yet.

Autometer makes excellent gauges and they are affordable. They have been maken gauges for a while, a lot of the old muscle cars use them too! I just put in an Autometer sport-comp boost gauge, and its awsome. With the red film over the back lioght its almost perfectly matches my stock gauge lights. And the install is easy. But running the vacum was a B!TCH!

VDO closely matches the stock gauge appearance, but we've done this many, many times.
