WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the first time I heard that an EGT Gauge is worthless.

Just by curiosity, did some one tell you that, or that's what you think????
I understand that there not 100% accurate, but better safe than sorry.

When I'm at the track running 22psi of boost, and don't have an EGT gauge to tell me how hot the car is running, I would be worried.

I said "close to worthless".

I've come to that conclusion through personal experience as well as conversations with fellow DSM'ers.

When I'm at the track running 27psi of boost I don't have time to watch an EGT gauge eventually tell me approximately how hot the inside of the manifold might be.

turboedoutlaser, i have the same problem. everything seemed to read right, but that sound wasnt too assuring. so i took everything out and put some teflon tape around the adapter, and its a little quiter...not quit enough, ill do it again, maybe tonight. good luck

does anyone have any other ideas on what gauge to install along with the boost and a/f gauge?

I like the suggestions so far and the pros and cons for the different gauges. Thanks for the help.
