no i have extensivley read the thread you are reffering to, i did test it from the compressor inlet. I made a better version of the boost leak tester on vfaq.

And it only took him 10 pages to figure it all out

what kind of fuel cut do you get, does it feel like the car just hits a wall or does the car keep trying to accelerate at a very slow pace?

No, No No. It is fuel cut for sure. And if i try and keep accelerating, it will cut again, and again, and again.
