So ive heard you want to keep the boost controller lines as short as possible. Has anyone ran one in the cabin and what did you experience? Bad performance? No change?
If it turns out this is not possible, i have a ton of small electric motors and misc. electronic scrap laying around. I think i may attempt to build my own electronic boost controller using a motor to drive the boost controller. :D

If you really want in-cabin control of your manual boost controller, you will need one that has an extended-by-wire knob assembly. You should never extend the unit with vacuum hose because you will increase the time your controller sees vacuum and pressure (turbo lag and boost spikes). You want to keep those lines as short as possible.

I have a Hallman kit that extends into the cabin and it works great.

niiiiiice. I like that setup. Damn if i didnt buy a mbc already. Oh well, that will be one of my next upgrades. Whole lot easier and simpler than building the electronic setup for sure!

If you have DSMLink you can have an electronic boost controller for $40.

Well $40 is not a realistic price. I know that ECMLink sells the kit for that price but you'd want to get the AEM Boost Solenoid 30-2400 for about $90 and then another $150 to properly install/tune. I had English Racing install/tune my AEM Boost Solenoid to help with the surging that I was experiencing and it worked great. Let ECMLink do all the work fur ya...

Realistcally I spent $40, "tuned" it myself on the street in about 10 minutes. But I guess you could go that route.

LOL. anyway, relaistically speaking, i have link v3 full. I may look into that as an option. But that hallman looks pretty nice.... and simple
