i have a 1993 TSI and i plan on doing 2-1/2 exhaust,hack the maf, open up the stock air box, manuel boost controller and a aftermarket boost gauge. thats really all i have so far. is a FMIC worth it with the stock turbo? i just want some mods to make driving it more fun. the engine is being rebuilt right now, along with all the oils leaks getting sealed off.

there is a guy local here that builds DSM's and he's very good at what he does. his site...www.rmtmods.ca. i plan on getting help from him when i do start fixing it up.

any thing else i should do?

go to the tech guide on this site and check out the "free" mods...then when you do that go to stage one and then stage 2. i'm personally going to do about everything in order from what they say because after looking around on this site you can tell that they know what they are talking about when it comes to dsm's. if you are going to trust somebody it should be them.

FMIC will not do you much good at this point. Rewire your fuel pump. Get a logger. Turn the boost up to 15 psi and have yourself a fun commute.

u could always port your turbo and manifold

If youre going to turn up the boost you need to get a fuel pump or at least rewire yours.
