bolt question on turbo install

i'm going to a agp rs49 and as yall know, it's better to go from the oil filter housing, and they are not watercooled. anyways, i need to know the dimensions of the banjo bolt that goes from the head to the turbo (oil blockoff) and i need to know the bolt dimensions of the line that goes from the water pipe to the turbo (water blockoff). either that or i need to find a way to cut the pipe and route a peice of hose from the coolant supply to the coolant return.

For the water block off in the block, I used the existing banjo bolt and 4-5 crush washers that I had. I think I did the same thing for the oil port coming from the head also.

For one (I think it was the water into the turbo) I took the existing pipe, and cut the end off. I then squashed the open end flat and brazed it closed. After that, I put the pipe in the hose and sealed it with black RTV. It hasn't leaked a drop.

If anything, take the existing banjo bolts to a good hardware shop and they will be able to help you out. Make sure you use a crush washer and that the bolt has no shoulder.

Wrong. The banjo bolt used for the oil supply (in the side of the head) is not NPT. It is a standard metric bolt.

The only thing I'd be worried about is the flare sealing. The flare fitting for the water return line is meant to have a line with a 45* inverted flare fitting installed.

Personally, what I'm going to do is just put JB-weld on the stock oil feed banjo bolt and make it a permanent addition to the head. Then I might take the stock water return line, crush it and weld it shut, and use it for a plug on the water return fitting.
