When I steadily accelerate, it almost feels at though the car bogs slighty. But if i push the throttle harder, it goes away. I dont really know how better to explain it. Why is this?

Let me know if that doesnt make since. Im not bright..:thumb:

hmm, sounds like a typical problem, theres a bunch of reasons why your car is boggin , if you have the cash just go out get a new set of sparkplugs and wires, anytime my car had a slight bogg down low or even up high it was caused from running rich and after time it fouled my plugs up, so i would just replace em every few months, i can set my safc to run leaner at high rpms, but ide rather spend the 8$ every 3-4 months then thousands rebuilding my blown motor, so try that, if it doesnt do anything, you may just be running to rich as it is, ide recommend gettin a datalogger or safc, or both

Absolutely get a logger. It is an invaluable tool even if your stock. Usually, you'll know as much as the dealer would if they put it on their diagnostics computer.

When i bought the car like 4-5 months ago. I went with cheaper spark plugs then with the intent of upgrading later. Looks like one more thing on my to do list (AKA ways to go broke) for payday..

I am getting a datalogger on the 15th!

im not exactly sure what the best is, since everyones car is going to react different since there is a combination of different parts on thier car, i have used Bosch and NGK, i havent had any problems with them, the only time i had a problem with spark was when i bought those ACCEL 8mm wires, they burnt up in like 2 weeks, so i bought a set of stock wires and they work great.

Go with the NGK. I believe they are the BRE7ES, or are they the 6ES's?

yea you can get NGK BR7ES, , dont bother with the platnuim +4, or any of those crazy plugs that are like 12$ a pop, not worth the time.., if you wanted, just go to autozone, tell them what kinda car you have, and then they will tell you what kinda plugs you need and they will be pregapped for you, just double check the gap before installing em... anyways they will tell you what plugs you need then they should have a few selections of different companies, just pick one or stick to your budget, thats what i do.., if im feeling frisky ill get a set thats around 3$ per plug, or if im feeling cheap ill go with a full set for like 4$

Yes, don't waste your time with those expensive plugs. The NGKs will work perfect. Trust us. :thumb:

I did a tune up. New plugs, wires, KN filter.. HUGE difference.. wow. car sounds a lot better to. The filter I had on it before I couldnt see anything through it holding it directly in the sunlight. As i was taking the old wires out.. They fell apart. The wire broke. The plastic piece broke off inside the hole. i had to use pliers to get it out.. Then the metal clamp that goes over the spark plug broke out of that. And I had to use pliers to get that out. And the spark plugs were white and weren't even tight.

Overall. Huge improvement. Runs a hell of a lot better now. Thanks!

i figured it was a combo of wires and plugs, thats ushally what causes that kinda problem other then a major boost leak or bad maf

is this your first turbo-charged car? because, if you're expecting power to be there at 2k when you hammer the throttle in third through fifth... you've just discovered what turbo lag feels like

its my first turbo. But i understand turbo, and lag. This was while I was under boost. But after the tune up, it seems to have gone away.
