bm tranny insert install?

hey guys
were going to be doing a clutch soon and will have the tranny out and i want to install a bm tranny insert. I was quoted 250 to install it but i think that seems kinda high considering the tranny is already out. Is there a faq for installing a tranny insert anywhere and do you think its somthing a couple experienced dsm people could handle? Thanks for the space

It's not hard to do, just take your time and be careful. It is a pain in the ass if you don't remmeber how somethign went on. If you don't have the shop manual, don't even think of trying to do this. Other than that, if you can do a clutch install, you could do this. It probably would help to have someone who has been inside a tranny before, but I wasn't and it worked ok ( I do have a problem tho). good luck
