rip the vent line off the passenger side of the valve cover. Put a little breather filter in. Plug the intake part where the hose used to go to. That will eliminate oil in the intake because of blowby. Thats the first and cheapest thing you would want to do. If that doesnt help, then start going after more expensive things like the turbo.

Were the cylinder walls checked out during the rebuild? the rings may be new but the walls are worn and you might still be getting blow by. Check compression!!

yea they were honed out to 20 or 30 over so those shoud be good, what shoud i plug the hole in the intak with?

You mean they were bored out .030 over right? Honing takes off a max of .004". anyway you can use a little air filter that they sell at any autozone or advanced to put over the vent, but I dont reccomend that. If you want to do it right just get a catch can.

well if there was a bunch of oil in the intake already it would take a bit for all of that to get out so dont count it out yet.

Yea thats what i was kinda thinking.

What do you mean it's like a CD?

Check for both side to side play, and in and out play. There should be no in and out play, and only a very small amount of side to side play if any. Are any of the fins on the compressor wheel touching the side of the turbo? Or does it look like they have been?

Ok i took of my lower IC piping and my IC off and there is oil in my intercooler and lower and uper piping. and i just check the play in and out in my turbo and it does go in and out quite a bit. and would it be ok to sprey water in IC but make shure that its all dry befour i puut it back on.

water wont take out oil. Pour some gas or carb cleaner in there and shake it up and keep doing that untill it comes out clean. Sounds like its time for a turbo upgrade

Should be a hell of a turbo setup for that price! May I ask what you decided to go with?

the MHI evo3 16g kit from SBR,Walbro 190, 650 Injectors,Intake, downpipe, dsmlink,Boost Controller and FMIC form. and that will be around $2400 not inculding shiping. What do you think?

Why not go larger on the injectors. It can't hurt to have a little more headroom in case of an upgrade later on.

Your right for only $25 more I should just get the 750cc. Thanks

i had blue smoke out my exhaust after my 6botl swap. had already done valves so thought it was turbo. upgraded to 16g still happened. while ## car is just idling, rev the car up to about 5500 rpms for a couple seconds, if you have blue smoke it is your valve guides. at least it was for me, hope it helps
