Alrite i have done some research and i found a few answers? but i wanted to post my issues to see which one is the problem? well if you can help that be sweet well here are the symptoms? When i turn on the car everything is fine? turns normal? so i drive off? and i see a little bit of smoke? and then when i hit about 2k 3K hella smoke comes outs? the smoke looks white? so i take of my intake and i see this nasty a$$ oil! its like silver? like if it had some metal pieces? so i check my oil in the engine but the level is fine and the oil is clean and i check my rad water and thats clean i take of the oil cap? and look for any white film? under the cap? to see if water is getting in to my head? but nothing? so I Pop my hood? while my car is on? and i rev it from under the hood? and i see a hella smoke! comingn from the exasut? and hella smoke from every where in my engine bay? So i think its a bad turbo? becuase i still can drive my car? it does not over heaat? this started in The bay area? and iw as able to dive all the way to modesto about a hour drive? and i did not over heat? or anything? and if it was the head gasket? wouldn't my car overheat? and drive $hitty? well if you can help thanks i am sorry for posting again just wanted some answer from my fellow dsmers! awww man sometimes i want to give up on my CAR!!!!! but damn it i love that TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dsm:  thanks for your HELP! latez

its ur turbo. take ur intake off and check for shaft play..i bet u have a lot. and yes, if it were a headgasket, u would most likely over heat.

If you have metal shavings in your intake you need to inspect your turbo. Specifically the compressor side.

Modesto, huh? I live about 20 mins south :thumb:
