I'm not sure where to post this, but I thought I'd give it a shot. My College class is going to rebuild a motor, and my teacher said he'd like to keep it a 4 cylinder.
So my brain of course is thinking 46G3. With the line of discount ( 20-30% from Rockville Mitsu) I can get all the parts needed pretty cheap...
Just wondering if anyone had a spun bearing, blown piston, any repairable 4G63 6 bolt. May sound like a stupid, but I figure it's worth asking. I know many of you have several engines laying around, maybe even one that doesn't have the turbo, etc that even runs... Anything.
Post up if you have something! I'd greatly appreciate it, and we'd be able to post pictures of the progress in class.. ( powdercoat is nearby ) we'll make it all nice and pretty, and u'd be doing a good dead that's tax deductible. ( wooo )
