Alright I need some insight on what might be the problem. I just recently built my 6bolt stroker. It was running great for the first three hundred miles then the timing belt jumped. So I pulled the head, had it fixed. Got the head back on the car, I did reuse the cometic hg since it only had the three hundred miles on it. I start the car and it starts to smoke like an sob. The motor sounds good other than it smokes like no other. First, I think great the hg didn't seal. So do a compression check starting from (cylinder 1) 165,162,135,165. Cylinder three was a little low, so I did a wet compression check and it came up to 145. I then check the antifreeze and oil no cross mixing to be found. Ok the hg has to be sealing, so pull the lower intercooler pipe and about half a quart of oil comes out. Ok cool the turbo's dead so I thought, I change the turbo with a smaller 13g that i had laying around. Mind you i pulled the turbo off and was still running strong. Same problem all over again, so first i pull the lower intercooler pipe. There's a bit of oil but it could be expected from and old turbo. Its not enough to cause concern, I pulled the upper intercooler pipe no oil what so ever. I do another compression check almost identical #'s from last time. And check the plugs again no oil, looking through the sparkplug holes. There's no oil or residue on the tops of the pistons. My question is could getting carried away with the rtv on the turbo oil drain tube. Can the excessive oil pressure push back through the turbo and get burned throught the exhaust. Or no, any other insight is greatly appreciated (really). At this point its either put a new turbo on or change the hg. Thanks again for the help sorry about the novel
