Blower motor stopped working today

I had my heater on defrost today and my fans were making a weird whining sound. After a few minutes the fans stopped working completely, when I turn the nob I can here a relay or something clicking but nothing comes out.

Does this mean my blower motor is bad? If so where can I buy one?

Yes to me it sounds like your blower motor went. You can get one through any parts store like napa or auto zone.

I turned up my boost last night and my car pulled great, but today after driving for a little bit I am starting to hear a whistling noise under boost, does this sound like a boost leak?

dsmcoder - if you can hear the relay clicking, that's usually a good sign that it still works. Many times, the relays crap out before the blower motor does, as long as you keep your blower in good clean/lubed condition. Before you go buy an after market one or find one in the junk yard, you can always take it out and try to clean it/lube it. Then hook it back up and test it before you screw it back into place. A voltmeter is good to check the voltage to it, just to make sure there is the correct amount of current through the relay. You may find the relay is bad and you need to replace that too. You never know until you get into it!

I would recommend not bumping your own threads. There is a lot of info on boost leaks, you just have to do a couple different searches. The more general terms you use, the more results you will get back. I would also suggest buying/making yourself a boost-leak tester. This will help you determine all of you possible boost leaks, not just the one you are hearing. There are usually a ton more that you can't hear, so don't stop at just the one you hear from inside the car.
