Blow thru

Well i was told once i ran my 50 trim i would outrun my stock mas... Well that was BS... but anyways i went out and bought the complete Blow thru setup off ebay..

Even though i can NO im not venting i have 1g bov

And the intructions were there but i just am not sure i dont want to break something..


All the dials are pointing up right now which is 0. and the car runs like SHIT..

Dsmlink shows 18:1 fuel at idle.. and through out the entire throttle.... my o2 is not dead.. if i put stock mas back in it works fine..


So what setting could help me, base line me.. Due to the snow up here in buffolo im puttin the stock turbo and injectors back on.. Gst<SNOW... this thing spins so bad...


So it would be t25 and 450's


Anyone.. i know not one setup will work but whats a good baseline?

I'll buy that blow thru set up from ya if it fits a 1g.

are all dials set to pointing straight up ( set to zero)? if so the 1st dial one ( the base dial for injector size) this is the one that u need to set up according to what injector size u have 750s right, okay there are 4 knobs in a row. the 1st one one the left set it to setting number 2, the the one knob that is in the top left corner of the box, set that to setting number 6, this is for 750s, leave the other 3 knobs ( idle, mid, and wot) set to zero for now. also on the left side there are 4 dip ( up and down) switches. if u are using a 3 inch maf, put all those swithes down ( off), if u are using 3.5 inch maf, just put the 1st switch to on ( up position)

another question is what version of the translator do u have, 2.00 and up, or 1.XX something, the instructions i gave u were for versions 2.00 and up. i have the procedure for 1.xx version too if that turns out to be the case.

im trying to set it for stock injectors now i took out the bigger ones for winter.. salt owns us here...

its 2.0.1

stock injectors 450cc would be 1st knob (base knob) setting 2, and the aux knob( top left apart from the other knobs) setting 4

ok.. is there anything i should diffrently in dsmlink to make it run right? im going out there now to try the settings.. Thanks alot man. It will be nice to be driving the gst again WOOT.. Also does it matter if i vent or not? i got it mounted right next to the intake... so can i just cap off the stock intake and vent the 1g... or will i have any ILL affects?

just as long as your bov is before your maf, vent away, u can vent the stock bpv, no ill affects only thing stock one does is leak at idle and thats normal, so u can either recirculate it like normal or vents its up to u.

And is there any setting in dsmlink that should be adjusted? Btw the setting work cars runs GREAT!

not shure about the dsm link, i would just use the dsm link to tune it and leave the other 3 knobs on the maft at zero. ( idle, mid, wot) since you have both of course, use the dsmlink to tune it. ( im not an authority on the dsmlink but i believe it can be used for tuning purposes, am i right?)
