ok dsm wisemen. this is where id be grateful if you all chimed in.

here are the details.

100mm eagle crank
eagle h rods (stroker specific)
weisco hd 1400 stroker pistons
arp everything
acl race bearings
new front case
new rear case
bs removed

as far as the head it is all stock but its tore down because i want to port it.

i need help as far as intstructions or tutorials on final wash, plastigaugeing, clearences and tolerances. ive got torque specs for arp's and the pistons are on the rods with the rings installed. any help would be great

as far as the head does anyone have any details on reassembly

any healp would be great

Is it a 6 bolt or 7? Cause a 6 bolt head can flow up too 600 HP with no problems without porting it. I'm just gonna be polishing my runners and call it a day.

Oh and if its a 6 bolt using Arp mains your going to have to get it aligned honned go.

yes it is a 6 bolt but with a 7 bolt head. im doin minor port work. nothing extreme because im going with cams and upgrading the head this winter.

i dont know if it has been align honed as i purchased it from a guy on here who bought from another and you know how the storyline changes. is there any way to check that it was? i c most people get it done when they do a rebuild

does anyone know if the final wash is the same for the piston/rings/rods and bearings? they are already assembled but i noticed a lot of grit and grime on them.

the main thing i need are the crank bearing clearences and the rod crank bearing clearences.

if you dont have any background in porting i prob wouldnt do it since you might cut dead spots in your runners and actually hurt performance, but its your head.

a machine shop would prob know if it was aligned honned or not, and the felpro mls headgasket is one of the best on the market

i need the clearences for the crank bearings and rod bearings. its an eagle 100mm crank. acl race bearings and eagle h rods. im getting ready to plastigauge.

also, im putting in solid rear differential bushings in and i was going to replace the lower balljoint. is that replacable or do i have to buy the whole control arm.

Most of the time eagle rods come out around .002". The mains will be anywhere between .001 and .0025. As long as they are all close to the same, anywhere in that range is normal. Have you file fit the rings? The best way to clean the rods and pistons is to take them apart and use about 10 cans of brake cleaner.

No. You need to take them apart, clean everything with brakecleen, coat with assembly lube, and put them back together. Has the engine been assembled before, and running, or are these all new parts? If the rings are new they will need to be file fit to the bores. If they aren't you will have serious issues.

The entire control arm. I hate spoon feeding people. All the information your asking for is a google or dsmtuners search away.. The mains are like 55 and the rods are like 38.. plastigauge is .002 on everything

its been assembled but never ran. i bought it and i didnt trust to just drop in and run so i dissassembled it. thank god because i dont think he final washed it. there was alot of grime in it. the rings are already file fitted.
