Blitz Turbo Timer Not Working in My 2g!

I originally had a 1g Talon AWD and recently I bought a 2g Eclipse GST. So I had to swap the turbo tmer, so I went to AMS and bought the correct harness. Well when everything was done the turbo timer wont time the car. It works and everything, its the Blitz DTT that reads boost, not the voltage reading one. It turns on and works perfectly but when I turn the car off it just goes to 0 minutes and the car and timer turns off, I have tried using both auto and manual mode and have both set to atleast a minute but when I take the key out the car just shuts off. Any idea what it could be?
-Also I noticed that on the control box there is a switch that goes between a and b, any idea what that could be????

Alrighty guys apparently I forgot to hook up the Purple wire that is supposed to go on the ebrake to ground. It works now!!

No actually it doesnt time the car unless this wire is either grounded or connected to the
e- brake wire.
