I have a question that hopefully anybody with a blitz dual sbc manual boost controller will be able to answer. As far as boost controllers go, they're pretty popular in terms of DSM's. I have a 2g with a 18G turbo and RC 550 injectors. My question is this, although I've located the manual for the boost controller online, I can't really figure out too much. First of all, GAIN...it seems that the higher the number the faster the boost rises running the risk of over boost, but how do you know which number to start at. Second of all, I can't quite tell from the manual or the actual boost controller, but it seems like you can have 4 different groups of settings and switch between them. Is this correct. Second of all, how do you switch between them. The manual is unclear. The guy who owned it before me obviously set everything on the boost controller up, because its working fine, however, I didn't know if he set some of the other presets.

hmm, and u were trying to teach me things eh...

"it seems that the higher the number the faster the boost rises running the risk of over boost, but how do you know which number to start at?"

-first of all, you probably meant, the higher the number, the higher the boost. when equipped with a boost controller, you must be equipped with a boost guage. that boost guage will help you determine how much you are boosting, and if you are spiking. give the boost controller knob a 1/4 turn (clockwise for boost, not sure) and test it to see if you've gotten your desired boost settings.

"but it seems like you can have 4 different groups of settings and switch between them"

-a dual stage, i think has 2 settings. one for a low setting (stock) and the other for whichever u want to set ur boost at. the t-25 wont go beyond 15psi, so there will be no point in raising it above that.

"Second of all, how do you switch between them"

there should be a switch inside the car to switch between the two settings.

ok, right. I've got this thing figured out now. Thanks for replying even though I shoulda just spent more time trying to figure it out. You're probably not familiar with blitz's dual SBC model boost controller. I discovered it does have different presets. 4, to be exact, and I've now realized how to switch between them. "the higher the number the higher the boost." we seem to have a misunderstanding on that one. I'm talking about the GAIN setting on the boost control which actually does control how fast the boost rises. The actual peak boost is set in another part of the preset. The only thing I haven't figured out exactly is what the RATIO setting does. I'm hoping someone that own's this exact model of boost controller can give me a quick lowdown. Oh yes, and I gotcha on the whole t-25 only boosting to 15psi, which is why I slapped in a greddy 18G. Its all in the original post.

allright. Got it all figured out...Anyone with a question on boost controllers, just drop me a PM.
