So I'm really confused, I'd never heard of a transfer case doing this.

I finally got my car to a dyno. My first run I made 290whp at 17psi. Then we kept going up to 28psi. Mid-way through the run there was a pop sound, not that loud.

We checked everything and it all seemed okay. We decided to go again and one of the guys there stopped us as soon as we started accelerating on the dyno, saying that the rear wheels were moving a lot slower than the front. We drained the transfercase fluid and it was full of shavings.

I've never heard of a transfer case kicking it like that..

Anyways I have a fresh transfercase coming that will be going to Shepracing most likely.

Just wondering if anyone has heard of a transfer case going out like this?

They checked the dyno to be sure that everything was spinning equally, there was nothing causing extra resistance on any rollers or anything. Really confused.

was just an AWD dynojet
