So always in the past when I bleed brakes I just have someone push the brakes and I loosen the bleed nipples in proper order. You know the drill. My brakes have always felt normal.
When I reading on PopMechanics the other day, they said to stick a clear plastic hose on the end of the nipple and then put the end of it in a bucket with some clean brake fluid in the bottom. They say it helps keep air from travelling back into the caliper. This seems completely unnecessary to me as long as the lines aren't full of air. Have you guys ever done this? Will you do this after reading the article? I tried it and it was a hassle and seemed unnecessary.
