1G BISS screw leak and TB shaft?

alright i just wanna know first with the tb shaft, how hard would that be i looked it up online and they took off the whole tb was woundering if that was really needed. also with the biss screw i dont have any tuning software how can i take out the screw and replace o-ring and put it back in without messing up the idle?

To replace the shaft seals, the whole throttle body portion (not FIAV) needs to be torn down. The throttle plate needs to be removed so the shaft can be removed and the seals replaced. This needs to be done off the car.

You will probably mess with the idle if you do replace it. If your old o-ring is leaking and you install a nice, new one, even at the exact same spot as before, it'll possibly change.

The biss is easy. Just pull it out, replace the o-ring, install it half way, start the car and adjust as needed to get the idle around 750.

You could go to vFAQ: BISS Adjustment to learn all about how to adjust the BISS to resolve your issue or if you leave the BISS alone it'd probably be best to get a new BISS seal.
