hey guys,

Just did my first boost leak, not sure if I have done this properly or what.

Im using a car compressor. I can NOT build any boost on my compressor gauge or car boost gauge.

Did use soapy water trick... only leak I see is the Biss screw is bubbling like crazy.

Car had no problem building boost while driving or had any issues idling 750+/-100.

Boost didnt seem to take a little while to max out tho.

Can a BISS screw leak be this bad that I cannot build boost with my compressor?

How would I fix this ? I have 2 other TB in my garage.

I would fix that leak and repeat until all are found. Some hard to get but key leaks include biss, tb seals, tb gaskets, and injector o-rings, pvc valve faulty.

How are you trying to do your blt? did you build your own or buy a tester?

Guys also if I cup ( not sure if thats the right term LOL ) put my hand around the TB from the top to the back near firewall, I do feel alot of air there. What can be leaking from there? I cant see any bubbles tho but I feel the cold air and when I turb of the Compressor I air ... TSSSSSSSSSSHHH for like 1 sec as it drains the air left.

I may not be doing this right with a cigarette lighter compressor. But I am hearing that leak when I turn it off..... cant build any boost tho... my gauge isnt moving

That would be your tb seals gone bad there is a vfaq on tb rebuild or someone in the freelance area can do it for a fee.

So its the seals and not the gaskets? ### I have 2 brand new gaskets

any one ?
