Is there anyone who manufactures billet valve covers for the 4g63 ?

I've tried looking on Google, and other forums but I'm not finding anything so I figured I would ask on here. :)

No one makes one, because it's a fairly dumb idea. Modern CNC machines could puke one out easily enough -and even replace the oil drippers with solid bits, probably, and make a real, machined crankcase vent cover that would install with screws instead of rivets. But figure on a thousand or more bucks for one.

I called a place not too far from here that has made valve covers and do a lot of CNC and press work, and he told me they could probably push one out for $400 (using stock as a template) which is quite a lot of money if you ask me. :p

Esp if you ask the question: what is the advantage of billet over aluminum?

Weight? Negligible.
Strength? As long as you're not a newbie you won't crack the thing...

I am not looking at any type of advantage really. I was mainly curious about a billet cover because of appearance... to have a little bit different look compared to stock.

Nothing serious.

Not to revive a way old thread, but look at it now we've got Frontline fab at around 700 for just a valve cover and magnus with their usual pocket robbing. The parts are beautiful from flf but imo for 700 I think it should at least come with your choice of -an lines to catch can and a choice of coil on plug plate or spark plug plate. These things cost so much because of the machine time
