Hey guys. What's the biggest and best cooling radiator available for our cars that you know of?? I run the koyo radiator and its ok. It is more delicate than the stock radiator. Fins bend easier. It's a tad bit smaller than the stock radiator from side to side core wise. The stock radiator is much more sturdy.
I'm looking for a thicker and overall more efficient radiator. I guess the biggest one that is available for our cars. The one that I have seen is the mishimoto X line radiator. I believe this one is 2.00 inches thick and its a 3 row radiator.
I wonder how it compares to the fluidyne and koyo radiators, since these 2 are more expensive.
Any other brands out there that are much better than these 3 radiators??

Yea, I'm looking for a new radiator too. I live in AZ down south and it gets to a good 105 daily. So my car tends to run hot. And I dont want to over heat it so I hardly drive it in the day unless I super duper need to. One thing to look into that I have been told by my fellow DSM buddy's in my city say to go with some slim high power fans.

I pretty much go all NAPA parts because that's where my shop goes to for parts and I get beast prices cause we have been with them for so long. So I'm going to look into their performance side of radiators and go find some high power slim fans for me. I just need the money. Haha

I would look into the Mishimoto X-line radiator. It has 3 cores, so it sounds like its a big mofo. I just ordered one for myself.

Well I have a custom dual pass made by Ron Davis Radiators. It's thicker than any other aftermarket radiators. Has an integrated oil cooler. However I can't say it's better or worse as I took no data beforehand with my old fluidyne and old ducting. I have a thread that shows it. I've only cruised around with the a/c on and off, and my temp gauge shows 90 and 81 deg C respectively. I have a swirl pot and surge tank which too make it hard to judge the efficacy of the radiator.

Sorry for the lack of any real info :). But it is another option.

edit - realized my temp data wasn't really useful as is. Those measurements were I think on a 90 degree sunny day. Also, my oem thermostat is slightly modified with three 1/8" holes drilled into the upper half. Lastly, I have Andrew Brilliant's hood on the car which vents pretty damned well. So I have a lot of modifications to help with airflow through the radiator.

One additional bit of data, in bumper to bumper traffic for loooong periods I saw peaks of 98 deg C, but nothing beyond that. I had the a/c running on max cool with the fan on the lowest setting using fresh airflow during that time. I think temps were in the mid to high 80s.

Yeah. Well I have a koyo radiator. It does ok but I think there is better. The fins on the koyo tend to bend extremely easy. Very easy. It almost seems that the same air going through the radiation is bending the fins. Thus the reason why I want to get another radiator. But if I'm going to spend some cash on one, might as well get the best there is for the 1g.

hate to revive this post but before I get bigger injectors and a bigger turbo want to make sure my coolant temps are going to stay down. looking into a spal fan but not sure which one to get and as far as radiators go seen fluyidine and koyo and mishimoto but does anyone know the best one to get, where going into winter so if its a 500 dollar radiator i have some months to save up.
