I was just wondering what some of you 1G guys did to fill the hole that is left over when you replace your stock head unit with an aftermarket one. I have the one with the GE built in, it is huge, but no CD player. Is there a piece you can buy to get it to fit and maybe have room on the bottom for like CD's or something.

eBay is full of cheap wiring harness adapters- you can get one that'll fit a later radio and one that'll fit the car's harness and use them to let a newer Mits radio (or, aftermarket) wire-up. Good used Mits radio/CD units can be had for $30.
