What to do with empty space? need ideas

I took my cd player out so now I have this big empty space. If you have em, post pics for reference of what you got.

No pics since I lost my gallery but I had my gauges mounted there in a piece of carbon fiber....

Well, there are probably multiple things you can do with that space if you get really creative and depending on the funds available. I would say just make a nice plate and put some aftermarket gauges in there. If you have a datalogger or plan to get one then you could make something to hold the PDA there. If your creative enough you could just make a storage space out of it that bolts to the stock stereo location.

Just some ideas.

I am putting a 7" LCD screen there.. hooked up to a computer in the trunk. I finished fiberglassing the screen today (simple set up... compared to my old one i made-covered in carbon fiber-)
But it gets the job done and looks semi OEM.. I will be posting pics in a few days hopefully.

My gauges will be going in an a-pillar so my what I don't have installed yet is an s-afc, turbo timer, and my laptop for logging. I was thinking of a face plate and putting something in there but I need pics. I'm a visual person. I wanna see that screen when you get a chance.
