big power, question on tranny

im lookin at 400 hp in my 96 talon awd tsi in the near future. what should i do to my auto tranny to beef it up?

i personally dont know a whole lot about the DSM auto tranny but I do hear shepracing does good work on trannies might want to check them out and ask about it. Of cours though there will be some auto tranny guys that will give some good help soon as they see the post heh.

IPT is the only way to go with auto trannies. You will need upgraded end clutches, translab shift kit and most important a bigger tranny cooler.

I will agree with IPT.

You from NC, I have a good friend by the name of Bob Friend. His 2g is auto and goes 11.0 in the 1/4. Shoot me a PM if you interested. I am going to his house this week to pull the tranny in my POS.
